Let's Paint the Town Red Week

When you said "Let's Paint the Town Red" drinking booze and having fun with friends is always on my mind. So I searched in Google on what's really the meaning of this idiomatic phrase and it's almost the same meaning but more deeper and wild.

According to thisThe "Morris Dictionary of Word and Phrase Origins" by William and Mary Morris states: "paint the town red. This colorful term for a wild spree, especially one involving much drinking, probably originated on the frontier. In the nineteenth century the section of town where brothels and saloons were located was known as the 'red light district.' So a group of lusty cowhands out for a night 'on the town' might very well take it into their heads to make the whole town red."

But don't worry I didn't go wild last week, I just wore ensembles with the shade of red. so here goes...

MONDAY

TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY - I'm on extra day-off, accompanied my Daddy to his therapy.

FRIDAY

SATURDAY - I'm still wearing with a shade of red but its more on the shade of pink so I will not post it.

I was about to wear this dress on a Monday day but it seems missing and I can't find it anymore.

I'm finished with the shades of dark, blue and now red. And next week I will wear the color of an attitude.

xoxo,

Bluer Than Blue Week

After you go, I can catch up on my reading... After you go, I'll have lot more time for sleeping
And when you're gone, it looks like thing's gonna be lot easier...
Life will be a breeze you know
I really should be glad.

But I'm bluer than blue... Sadder than sad... You're the only light this empty room has ever had
Life without you is gonna be... Bluer than blue...

The Adventures of Tintin : Germany (Deutschland)

I'm not talking about this movie but rather my cousin Tintin. She went to Germany together with the other youths from our church. After my 10pm duty Cy, our cousin Kelvin and me fetch them at Batasan and drove them to airport. I gave her some pasalubongs to our German friends and some DIY "greetings from the Philippines" cards. Hope they will like it.

The pouch bag is for Sarah Ahlers... I stayed with her family when I went to Germany way back 2006 and the ref magnet is for Miriam the daughter of their pastor in Jacobo Church. I miss spending time with them hope will be seeing them again soon.

This my best cousin Tintin...

...and our friends. And here are some of my photos during our trip to Germany 2006.

Masquerade Party 2012

I just wanna share the prayer I prayed during our Christmas 2012 Masquerade Party. I searched in the internet and I forgot the link where I got it... for me this is very touching between my colleagues, workplace and family.

"We thank you Lord for gathering us today.
We thank you most of all for giving us a reason to celebrate each year...
...a chance to reunite with friends and co-workers,
...a chance to enjoy each other's company
...and a chance to reconcile and to leave the past behind
so that we may look forward to better working
relationships in the coming year,
2012 has generally been a good year for all of us
and we thank you for the blessings you have given.
There were setbacks yes, but we trust that these are only ways
for You to open up new doors and new opportunities for us.
Bless our gathering today and bless this place
and bless each and everyone and our families as well.
we will soon welcome a new year and we will step into it
with full trust in you who makes all good things possible.
Bless us with joy, peace, good health, prosperity
and most of all wisdom to know how to attain all these.
To You be Glory forever. Amen."

And here's the program made by our senior telephone operator...

And here's some snap shots of the party...

Dark Side Week

There's a place that i know, it's not pretty there and few have ever gone
if i show it to you now, will it make you run away

Or will you stayeven if it hurts, even if i try to push you out,
will you return? And remind me who i really am, please remind me who i really am

Everybody's got a dark side, do you love me?
Can you love mine? Nobody's a picture perfect but we're worth it,
you know that we're worth it, will you love me? Even with my dark side?

                                                                  - "Dark Side" - Kelly Clarkson

This week I wore dark shade colors to hide my chubbiness (fatness) because one of the bosses told me and one of my colleague that we are getting bigger. So what? It doesn't affect our jobs, right? Anyway enough of that, with the help of my colleagues everyday I asked them to take a photo of me for documentation, and as mentioned I'm eating less now.
